German National Research Data Infrastructure
The goal of the German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) is to systematically make data from science and research accessible, interconnected, and sustainably usable (cf. NFDI, 2023). Data should therefore be made usable according to the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable).
Researchers at Bielefeld University are involved in various roles in consortia and sections of the German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). In addition, Bielefeld University is a member of the Nationale Forschungsdateninfrastruktur (NFDI) e.V. association.
